Considered ‘The Most Beautiful Mountain’ in the world, Mt.Ama Dablam stands at 6812m. The peak is located in the Solokhumbu region of Nepal and is by far the most dominant mountain in terms of views while trekking through the region. Just shy of 7000m by a a few hundred meters, this is one of the most technically challenging peaks that one can climb.

Climb?
Climbing Mt.Ama Dablam requires extensive technical prowess. Prior experience of climbing mountains is mandatory and the climber is expected to have solid experience of climbing peaks above 6000m. One must have already experienced the rigors of high-altitude, involving excellent physical fitness, technical proficiency, perseverance to endure harsh weather conditions, and the ability to stay away from home for extended periods of time.
To make things easier for you, we’ve compiled a list of pre-requisites that are required to climb Mt.Ama Dablam:
Physical Fitness:
This forms the most important aspect of climbing Mt.Ama Dablam. Climbers are expected to have an exceptional level of physical fitness. Consistent, structured training specific to mountaineering over a period of 12-18 months will be an absolute requirement for anyone looking to climb this mountain.
Mountaineering Experience:
Climbers must have a substantial amount of mountaineering experience to take part in this climb. We prefer climbers who have already climbed a few peaks in the 5000m-6000m and at least one 7000m peak. This ensures that the climber is well experienced and aware of all the finer aspects of mountaineering like the technical know-how (Rock, Snow & Ice), camping proficiency, and ability to stay & perform for weeks together in a high altitude environment.

Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel:

Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding:

Trek to Namche Bazar:

Rest and Acclimatization day at Namche:

Trek to Tengboche:

Trek to Dingboche:

Trek to Lobuje:

Trek to Gorakshep hike Kalapathar afternoon:

Trek to Everest BC (5200m) and return to Pangboche:

Trek to Amadablam BC:

Climbing period on Amadablam:
Once the team arrives at the base camp, a day or two will be spend on recovery as well as celebrating at the base camp. Once this is done, the camp will be disassembled and cleaned. Then we begin our descent towards Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu. On the last night at the hotel, we shall have a farewell party . The next morning all the members will dropped by the airport for their return flight home.

- A total of 6 nights’ accommodation in a Standard Hotel in Kathmandu on bed/breakfast plan. 3 nights before expedition and 3 nights after expedition.
- Welcome group dinner in Kathmandu.

Climbing Mt.Everest requires a very patient and extensive level of preparation. A year before one attempts to climb Mt.Everest, he/she should condition themselves by climbing successively higher peaks. Climbing any one of the sub 6000 m peaks like Mt.Elbrus (5642 m) in Russia, Mt. Kilimanjaro (5895 m) in Tanzania, Mt.Spangnak-Ri (6390 m) in Ladakh, Mt.Khadey in Ladakh (6080 m) and any one of sub-7000m peaks like Mt.Aconcagua (6961 m) or Mt.Nun (7135 m) in Ladakh; will help the climber to be at the top his form physically, mentally and technically at high altitude.
A whole kit of equipment specially made to climb an 8000m peak is required for this expedition. Through our multiple years of experience in climbing 8000m peaks, we have compiled the following list that is suitable for this climb. We just like to add one golden rule in the aspect of purchasing equipment/gear i.e., “Try before you buy.”
Travel Details
Climbers are suggested to arrive 2-3 days before the start date of the expedition. This allows ample time to recover from any jetlag and settle in Kathmandu. The return ticket may be an ‘open ticket’ or 3-5 days after the last day of the expedition.
Insurance
It is mandatory for every climber to have an insurance that covers medical emergency & evacuation during the full duration of the expedition. Along with that, we also highly recommend a ‘trip cancellation’ insurance for any eventuality. Having such an insurance will ensure that you as a climber are covered from all aspects.
Currency
Nepali Rupee will be used for doing all the local transactions. One can withdraw the same from the ATMs/Banks. And alternatively, carrying USD will be of great value, as pretty much everyone accepts them without any hesitation.
Visa
We provide full support in the form of supporting documentation and all the necessary communication required for the processing of your visa.
Booking Policy
A booking fee of USD $3000 will be required to confirm your trip for an upcoming season. This fee is non-refundable but transferable. Please refer our detailed booking policy sent to you on request.
Payment Policy
Convenient part payment options are available for this trip. However, the complete payment has to be made on or before 10 days before the start of the itinerary.
Transfer Policy
Incase for any reason your trip has to be transferred to the next season, the same can be done within the ‘Transfer period’ for each trip.
Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policies are customer friendly and can be easily availed within the ‘cancellation period’ of each trip. Please note that the cancellation will be subject to the prevalent conditions.
