Mount Everest, rising 8,850m (29,035ft) above sea level reigns as the highest mountain on Earth. It is through the North Ridge Route that the first of the expeditions to scale this majestic mountain were made and a lot of history has been etched on the slopes of this mountain facing the Tibetan plateau. From George Mallory’s intrepid explorations in the start of the 20th century to Poorna Malvath’s youngest climb in 2014, The North Side of Everest has stood as a witness to a lot of exciting stories. Today, the drive up to the North side Base Camp throught the breath taking landscape of Tibet is an unforgettable experience.

Day-7 Drive to Gyantse (3950m)
Day-8 Drive to Sigatse (3880m).
Day-9 Drive to Tingri (4300m)
Day-10 Acclimatization hike at Tingri
Day-11 Drive to Mt Everest North Base Camp (BC) (5,100m)
Day-12 to 15 Acclimatization and packing
Day-16 Trek to Interim camp (IC) (6,200m)
Day-17 to 20 Arrive at Advance Base Camp (ABC) (6500m) Setup ABC and Puja Ceremony
Day-21 to 23 Climb up to Camp -1, establish camp-1 and back to ABC
Day-24 to 25 Rest in ABC
Day-26 to 27 Climb up to Camp -2, establish camp – 2 and back to ABC
Day-28 to 49 Establish camp – 3 and summit. (Spare days for weather, route opening and rest at Base Camp/ABC before summit push)
Day-50 Return to Advance base camp (ABC)
